Proud and excited to launch NorthGauge-The Next Generation in Peer Review!
When I recently left MDReview as its President and CEO, I had to consider my options. What am I going to do next? It didn’t take long to realize that the relationships I built aren’t easy to walk away from; they mean the world to me. And, as many of you know, I’m no slouch at peer review, which is nice, because I really love the work.
As it turns out, Julie Pemberton, who managed every peer review project and oversaw much of the operation, also left MDReview. Her passion to serve and desire to build on her strong track record and fallowing matched mine. Together, we created NorthGauge.
Without all the bureaucratic and organizational baggage that comes with an established organization, we had the fortune of being able to start a new company from scratch: nothing to work around, no existing contracts that force us to do things a certain way, no leadership resistance to what we think is necessary change…I could go on and on. As we conceived the idea of NorthGauge, we asked: What is most important to our clients? What is of little value? How can we not just say we are physician driven, but actually be physician driven? How can we close the distance between our client and our reviewers? How can we do it all less expensively? Many other questions warranted careful thought.
Well, we came up with some great answers! We can’t wait to tell you about NorthGauge. If you have worked with me and/or Julie before, it’s still us, but with better tools and techniques. As always, if we have your confidence and trust, we will work hard to keep it. If we don’t yet have it, let us demonstrate why we are worthy partners.
Let us know how we can put our all new, all unique, intelligently designed resources to work for you and your colleagues. We look forward to hearing from you.
